Butter Cookies

Directions

1. Cream 1 cup butter and ⅔ cup sugar. Add 1 egg, beat well.
2. Add 2½ cups flour, ½ tsp. baking powder, ¼ tsp. salt and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well.
3. Put through a cookie mill or chill, roll and cut.
4. Bake 400 degrees 10–12 minutes.
