Pecan Cookies

Directions

1. Sift together 2 cups flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, ½ tsp salt.
2. Cream together ⅓ cup butter with ½ cup each brown sugar and white sugar.
3. Add flour mix, add 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla.
4. Mix in ½ cup pecan pieces.
5. Shape into rolls about 1½ inches in diameter. Wrap well and freeze.
6. When ready to bake, cut into slices and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 5–7 minutes @ 425 degrees.
